Regional IIDA Chairs

As chair of the IIDA program in your REGION, your responsibility is to see that all of the entries conform to the rules and regulations set forth by the IIDA committee, inform designers of the rules and regulations, and enforce those rules and regulations. Most problems are filtered out at the Section level, however, following are some helpful hints that will allow you to avoid complications and ensure a successful program.

• Be sure to receive all entries and Section report forms from Section Chairs
• Check that the Section report forms are filled our correctly and that all entries are paid for.
• Review projects for problems BEFORE judging to allow time for corrections.
• Make sure that the designers have used the official IESNA IIDA form and that it is completely filled out. Things to check for:

  o Has the designer checked the category box?
  o Has the designer obtained the photographer’s signature?
  o Has the designer included the project owners’ information?
  o Has the designer indicated the number of images and word count?
  o Has the Section chair initialed form to indicate entry fee has been paid?
